This page builds the first kind: a wedding address assembled from your names, your venue, and where the day is happening — as many parts as you want, or as few. Guests write to the pretty address and their mail lands in the ordinary inbox you already read; they type the pretty web address and it opens the wedding site you already have.

Emails and website domains can be purchased separately or together, which leaves room for creative and impactful wedding communications. Nothing about your daily setup changes — the mail still lands in the inbox you already read, and the web address still opens the site you already have.

What the Pending tag means.

  • The names you type into Custom names are for sizing up ideas. They are not names we hold.
  • This page cannot check whether a name is already registered, so every custom name shows as Pending in the name builder rather than Available or Taken.
  • You can still add the name, and any address built on it, to Requested forwards. Everything you add that way is marked pending acquisition until the name is in hand.
  • A name we register is yours alone, so the bare domain and its www. both forward — the subdomain rule that applies to our shared names does not apply to it.

One address, distributed to many separate inboxes

  • inquiries@marmonte.wedding does not land in one mailbox — it copies to as many separate email addresses as you name: the coordinator’s, the sales manager’s, the front desk’s, a shared inbox, someone’s phone.
  • Each person keeps their own existing address. Nothing is pooled, no one shares a login, and no one has a second inbox to check.
  • Add or remove recipients whenever you like. The address on the brochure never changes.
  • Nothing waits on one person being at their desk, on holiday, or gone from the company.

Missed marketing leads

  • Not following up on an inquiry is the single biggest reason a sale is lost.
  • An address that lands with several people means someone always picks it up.
  • The address on the brochure stays the same even as the team changes.

  • Photographers and videographers can hand the couple a single short name for the finished work, on a card that goes out with the final invoice.
  • If it moves — a new cut, a new gallery host, a different platform — point the name somewhere else. Everything already printed still works.

Invitations for less

  • A custom address costs a fraction of a paid invitation campaign, and works with the invitation you already send.
  • One subdomain.domain.wedding name covers the whole event, both halves: inquiries@rockwell.family.wedding takes the questions, and www.rockwell.family.wedding is the website itself.
  • Guests reply to rsvp@rockwell.family.wedding and the replies arrive in the inbox you already read.
  • No per-guest pricing, no account for your guests to make, and no advertising alongside your invitation.
  • That one name carries the save-the-date, the invitation, the RSVP, the thank-you and the finished photographs — months apart, and never reprinted.

Not an IT project

  • Domain and email forwarding is a narrow, technical corner of DNS and mail routing. Most IT departments have never set one up, and will not take it on for a single event.
  • Registrars have been backing away from it too — GoDaddy discontinued its email forwarding service, and where forwarding still exists elsewhere it is usually bundled into a paid mailbox rather than offered on its own.
  • So the real choice is rarely “IT will do it, slowly.” Often it is that nobody at the organization can do it at all.
  • Even when they can: a new subdomain means a ticket, a security review, a brand approval and a scheduled DNS change — weeks, sometimes a quarter. A specialized event rarely has that runway.
  • Mail is worse. A new mailbox means a licence, a mail-flow rule, and someone in IT owning it afterwards.
  • A forwarding name touches none of that. No record on your domain, no change to your mail system, no mailbox to provision, and nothing to decommission — when the event is over, the name simply stops forwarding.
  • That puts event names where they belong: with the marketing team running the event, at the speed the event actually moves.

Operational clarity

  • The website side matches: www.feb-4-2026.marmonte.wedding forwards to that event’s own page, whether that is a gallery, a run sheet or the couple’s site.

What can point where, and why.

Email addresses — either domain only or subdomain.domain versions work

  • Domain only. An address can sit straight on the domain: hello@santabarbara.wedding.
  • Subdomain and domain. Or on a subdomain in front of it: hello@marmonte.santabarbara.wedding.
  • Both forward the same way — mail sent to it lands in the ordinary inbox you already read. Nothing to set up on your side, and no new mailbox to check.
  • You can have several on the same name — rsvp@, photos@, gifts@ — each pointed wherever you want.
  • The only email addresses not available are the ones already spoken for, which show as Taken in the panel at the top.

Website addresses from our lists — subdomain required

  • The names in the two lists are domains we own and share across many weddings, so no one customer takes a whole one.
  • Available: a subdomain in front, forwarded to the site you already have — marmonte.santabarbara.wedding → your wedding site.
  • Not available: the bare domain on its own, santabarbara.wedding, or its www. twin. Those stay with us so the name can serve everyone.
  • That is why the Web address and With www rows turn to Taken the moment the subdomain field is empty — put anything in front and they go back to Available.
  • Note this limit is on the website side only. An email address on the bare domain is still fine.

A custom name we register for you — no restrictions

  • Ask for any name that is free to register — .wedding, .com, or any other ending.
  • It belongs to your event alone, so the subdomain rule above does not apply.
  • The bare domain and its www both forward — rockwellwedding.com and www.rockwellwedding.com both point at your site.
  • Email on that same name: inquiries@rockwellwedding.com, rsvp@rockwellwedding.com, photos@rockwellwedding.com — as many as you like, each forwarding to whichever inbox you say.
  • A .wedding name of your own works the same way. Ask for rockwell.wedding and you get www.rockwell.wedding for the site and inquiries@rockwell.wedding for the mail. Because it is registered for you rather than shared, the bare domain forwards too — the subdomain rule above applies only to the names on our lists.
  • Add as many subdomains as you like on top of either one, each pointed at a different place.
  • Type it into Custom names under Pick a name, add it to your requested forwards, and we will quote it.
